Job Title: Nursing Head – Mother and Child Hospital

Position Summary:

The Nursing Head will oversee and lead nursing operations to ensure the highest standards of patient care, safety, and quality in a mother and child hospital. This role focuses on clinical excellence, staff management, and operational efficiency while maintaining a patient-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Clinical Leadership: Ensure evidence-based practices and quality care delivery in obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, and neonatal units.
2. Staff Management: Recruit, train, and mentor nursing staff to maintain high performance, engagement, and retention.
3. Operational Oversight: Optimize nursing workflows, staffing schedules, and resource allocation for 24/7 operations.
4. Quality & Compliance: Implement protocols to meet NABH/JCI standards, ensure infection control, and drive quality improvement initiatives.
5. Patient-Centric Care: Foster a culture of compassionate, family-centered care, ensuring patient satisfaction and safety.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with medical leadership, administration, and cross-functional teams to enhance outcomes and operational synergy.
7. Continuous Improvement: Monitor KPIs, analyze data, and introduce innovative practices for efficiency and better care delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:

• B.Sc./GNM Nursing with 10-15 years of progressive experience, including leadership roles in maternal and child health.
• Strong expertise in clinical protocols, people management, and quality frameworks.

Location: Motherhood, Kolkata (high end hospital at Kasba locality)
