Responsibilities for Nurse Educator

• Teach courses and provide training to licensed and unlicensed nurses
• Develop lesson plans
• Incorporate evidence-based research into educational plans, patient treatment plans, and nursing practices
• Serve as a mentor to nurses, promote critical thinking among nurses, and show commitment to professional development and lifelong learning
• Maintain current knowledge of trends in area of expertise

Qualifications for Nurse Educator

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSc) essential, with specialization in Critical Care or Medical - Surgical.
• Previous experience of at least 2 years in a teaching setting required.
• 3 years experience working as a registered nurse in a clinical setting, preferably in the ICU or Medical - Surgical ward is essential.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to explain is critical.
• Must be digitally savvy.
