We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Incharge Nurse to oversee key units at our Mother and Child Hospital, including the NICU, OT, Labor and Delivery Room (LDR), Wards, and OPD. The Incharge Nurse will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality of care for mothers and children, coordinating nursing staff, and managing day-to-day operations across these units. This position requires an individual with strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Manage nursing operations across NICU, OT, LDR, Wards, and OPD, ensuring adherence to healthcare standards and protocols.
  • Staff Supervision: Lead, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to maintain a high standard of care; ensure staff coverage, rotation, and training.
  • Patient Care Management: Monitor patient care processes and ensure protocols are followed for safety, hygiene, and best practices in mother and child health.
  • Coordination & Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, allied healthcare staff, and administrative teams to optimize patient flow and resource utilization.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control procedures; ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory policies.
  • Resource Management: Maintain inventory, ensure availability of equipment, and oversee unit supplies to support uninterrupted care.


Requirements:

  • Experience: 6–9 years in nursing, with experience in maternity and pediatric care preferred.
  • Qualifications: Bsc or GNM, with relevant specialization in NICU, OT, or labor/delivery care. West Bengal Nursing Council Registration must.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills; ability to multitask and handle high-stress environments.
